didsomeoneclone.me is a tool we built ourselves for detection of website clones and phishing pages. When an attacker clones your website for a phishing attack, didsomeoneclone.me detects this and alerts you. This way you can take action before your customers or employees become victims.
Phishing remains the most common cyberattack. Attackers copy your website, register a look-alike domain and distribute links. The fake page is visually identical and collects credentials from unsuspecting visitors. didsomeoneclone.me detects these clones early.
How does it work?
An invisible detection script on your website. When an attacker clones your site (standard practice in phishing), the script is cloned along. The moment someone visits the cloned site, the script phones home and reports the clone. You receive an alert with URL, IP address and screenshot of the phishing page.
We built this because existing anti-phishing tools had a fundamental gap: they detected at domain registration, not at actual use. didsomeoneclone.me detects at the moment it matters.

Does the script affect my website?
No. A few kilobytes, loaded asynchronously. No measurable impact on load times, Core Web Vitals or SEO. We are web developers ourselves - we know performance matters.
Does it work if the attacker removes the script?
If the attacker manually removes the script: no. But most phishing kits clone pages automatically and completely. In practice, the script is almost always cloned along.
